Extra Ordinnaire was born from a desire to offer something the Indian fashion landscape had not yet seen, a brand that brings the spirit of Parisian haute couture to the heart of India. Conceived by creative director Garima Wadhwa, the label is a celebration of bold femininity, meticulous artistry, and unapologetic elegance.

Our journey began with a simple question: What if Indian women didn’t have to fly to Paris or Milan to experience true luxury fashion? From that question emerged Le Premier Chapitre—a debut collection of 52 dresses that marks the opening pages of a brand-new story in the world of high fashion.

At Extra Ordinnaire, every garment is a world of its own. Our pieces are not just made; they are sculpted. Draped, boned, pleated, and painted, each one is envisioned as a character in an ongoing narrative of drama, romance, and couture precision. The silhouettes are often architectural. We mostly use globally sourced natural fabrics like pure mulberry silk, silk satin, cotton, and linen, fabrics chosen for their beauty, texture, and movement while occasionally venturing into innovative materials for sculptural or avant-garde pieces. Every fabric is considered, and every detail is intentional.

All our garments are designed in-house and handcrafted in India by skilled artisans who bring years of tradition to every stitch and fold. It is our firm belief that Indian craftsmanship belongs on the global luxury stage, and Extra Ordinnaire is our offering to that belief.
